Light Tan Full Grain
A light tan full-grain leather with silver-gilded page edges, the lighter of our two Classic tans. Light leather shows a patina clearly, so it darkens toward a richer tan as it is handled.
A Flexible Softcover
The leather is the cover, with no board behind it, so the journal bends with a bag instead of wearing at the corners the way a hardback does. There is no elastic or tie.
Numbered Pages and a Table of Contents
The pages are numbered and lined, with a table of contents at the front. Note a page’s subject there and any entry is easy to find later.
Large or Pocket
The large is 5.4 x 8.5 inches with 234 pages, and the pocket is 3.8 x 5.8 inches with 186.
Silver Edges and a Ribbon
All three page edges are gilded in silver, and a ribbon marker is sewn into the spine. The Leatherpress logo is pressed into the front cover in silver, and the name into the back.
Sewn to Lie Flat
The pages are Smyth-sewn in signatures, not glued, so the journal opens flat on a desk and stays flexible as you use it.
